We are Pastors Osvaldo and Elida Broch, living in South Texas, where we serve as evangelists and have a missions ministry in Mexico. Four months ago, we went through the most painful experience imaginable—our firstborn son passed away. There are no words to describe the pain; it feels like a spear through the heart, the air feels dense, and the tears don’t stop. In the midst of this pain, we had to hold onto the Lord Jesus Christ with all our strength; without His help, we couldn’t have made it through.
During our journey of healing, we had the privilege of meeting our dear brother Peter Ramis from Grief to Purpose, who supported us in this incredibly difficult time. He was the shoulder we needed at that moment. Peter had gone through the same experience a few years before, and his pain was exactly like ours. His counsel and encouragement have been a great help to us. When sadness or anxiety tries to take hold of me, I remember his words of encouragement that helped him get through this difficult process. Those words help me to face this painful time of grief.
I am deeply grateful to the Lord Jesus for allowing me to meet our beloved Peter. Thank you, Peter—we love you. May God bless you and continue to use you to help others through this difficult journey of losing a loved one. May God bless you richly and abundantly.
